PVT consultant on project involving multiple fields.
Advising on PVT related matters. Quality check of PVT data and evaluation / development of single and common EoS models. Focus on consistent PVT description in reservoir, network and process simulation.

Effect of gas lift on wax deposition in a well.
Carrying out simulations to evaluate the effect of flow rate and lift gas temperature on the outlet temperature and wax deposition in a well. Heat exchange between lift gas and well stream was also investigated.

Reservoir initialization project.
Non-equilibrium initialization of a reservoir grid model based on interpolation / extrapolation of known reservoir fluid samples. The model honors the established depth of a gas-oil-contact and horizontal variation in reservoir fluid composition.

Asphaltene modeling.
Investigating different approaches to modeling asphaltene precipitation. Collecting and analyzing experimental data and presenting at seminars.

2012-2016
Implementing new models in PVTsim.
Coding SRK-CPA / PR-CPA equations of state and extending the PC-SAFT equation with an association term.

2012-2016
Property and phase equilibrium modeling.
Optimizing parameters and testing thermodynamic models for calculating phase equilibrium and bulk phase properties. Models include SRK, PR, CPA and PC-SAFT.
