New JSON type format for holding characterized fluid information. The format is available in two versions: A Limited version with data required for PVTsim consistent EoS simulations, and a Complete version, which holds all information stored with a characterized fluid in PVTsim, including PVT data. This format is ideal for use in cloud environments
PVTSIM JSON EOS IMPORT
New import function for PVTSIM JSON EOS files.
OBM
OBM CLEANING – USER CONTROLLED
Users can now select a measured OBM composition in the OBM Cleaning – User Controlled menu. The amount of OBM removed can be changed with the slider, and the plot of the resulting clean composition can immediately be viewed.
When a measured OBM Composition is selected, users can press “Find Optimum OBM amount”. This new function finds the amount of OBM to be removed to give the best trend line of the clean composition vs. carbon number.
SIMULATIONS WITH OBM
When a fluid is selected with OBM components, simulation menus now display the amount of OBM in the fluid.
NEW INTERFACE MODULE
ECLIPSE THERMAL
New interface module for the Eclipse Thermal reservoir simulator.
AUTOMATED IMPORT OF PVT DATA
IMPORT OF PRODML FILES
Improved version check during file import.
PVTSIM APPS
INSITU FLUID
Updated to allow simulations on characterized fluids.
WAX
WAX DATA TUNING
It is now possible to add data directly in the Wax Tuning menu.
DEPTH GRADIENT
DEPTH GRADIENT SIMULATION
Explicit location of GOC found when the starting sample is a gas and there is no distinct GOC, just a critical transition at a pressure higher than the saturation pressure on characterized fluids.
DEPTH GRADIENT REGRESSION
PVTsim inserts sample depth in the menu if available on the Sampling Data tab of the fluid.
FLASH
MULTIPHASE FLASH W/ SOLIDS
Enhanced numerical robustness.
INTERFACES
HYSYS
Updated Hysys file names of several defined components.
PROSPER EOS
Up to 50 components allowed for Prosper EoS files.
OLGA BATCH
Updated to allow simulations on characterized fluids.
OPM
Bg and VISC values corrected in PVTG and PVTGW tables.
